A beautiful slow stitched textile art collage of a Wren. Made from a rescued doll quilt, linens and lace, this little Wren is hand drawn, then hand stitched with many layers to create texture. Embroidery is done slowly by hand with great attention to detail. My father was an avid birder and I carry on his memory with my bird creations in paint and linen. Slowing down to stitch in an unhurried way quiets the world for a bit.
