Restore, clean, and protect your teak furniture with our three-step Kingsley Bate Teak Cleaning & Care Kit that includes one bottle each of Teak Cleaner, Teak Protector, and Teak Shield. Step one is to scrub on teak cleaner to aid in removing the top layer of silver-gray weathered teak and to bring back the finish to the original golden brown color of new teak furniture. Step two is to apply a thin coat of teak protector to preserve the golden brown color and slow down the natural weathering of teak if the furniture is exposed to direct UV rays. The teak protector acts sort of like a suntan lotion for your furniture and needs to be reapplied from time to time. The third step is to apply the teak shield, creating an impenetrable barrier to prevent wine, oil, water, and other stains from penetrating the wood. When applied twice a year, the teak shield will allow you to wipe away surface blemishes quickly and completely. Teak is a relatively low maintenance wood, but with a little bit of care, you can help your furniture age a little more gracefully.
